Solution:

Antidiuretic hormone is secreted from neurohypophysis. It promotes reabsorption of water from glomerular filtrate. Its hyposecretion results in diabetes insipidus. Diabetes mellitus is due to hyposecretion of insulin hormone from pancreas.
