Initiation codon is $ \text{AUG} $ which codes for methionine (Met), it is used as start signal in protein synthesis. It is the most common chain initiation codon. In prokaryotes, the codons $ \text{GUG} $ and $ \text{UUG} $ are also employed in instances as starts codons. Three triplets, $ \text{UAA} $ (ochre), $ \text{UAG} $ (amber) and $ \text{UGA} $ (opal) do no code for an amino acid and are called non-sense codons or chain termination codons. $ \text{UUU} $ (uracil) codes for phenylalanine,
