Inner membrane of mitochondria forms finger like folding inside matrix these foldings known as cristae. $F_1$ particle or oxysomes are present at cristae. ETS lakes place $F_1$ particle and ATP is formed during this electron transport chain with the helps of ATP synthatase enzyme.
