Q. In which of the following embryonic stages does the implantation take place?

Human Reproduction

Solution:

At blastocyst stage of embryonic development implantation to the endometrial uterine wall takes place. The blastomeres in the blastocyst are arranged into an outer layer called trophoblast and an inner group of cells attached to trophoblast called the inner cell mass. Through trophoblast layer, blastocyst gets attached to the endometrium while inner cell mass gets differentiated as the embryo.
