Schwann cells formmyel in sheath around axon. The gaps between two adjacent myelin sheath are called nodes of Ranvier. Myelinated or medullatednerve fibres are found in spinal and cranial nerves. Unmyelinated nerve fibresis commonly found in autonomous and the somatic neural system.
