Q. In the region where electric field $E=0$, the relation between electric potential $V$ and distance $r$ is

Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

Solution:

$V_{A B}=-\int\limits_{A}^{B} \vec{E} \cdot d \vec{l} ; \because \vec{E}=0$
$\Rightarrow V_{A B}=0$
Potential difference $\left(V_{A B}\right)$ between any two points $A$ and $B$ is zero, hence potential is constant.
