Q. In the members of family-Malvaceae anthers are described as

Solution:

The androecium of family-Malvaceae consists of indefinite stamens. The stamens are mono-adelphous, i.e., united into one bundle by filaments and monothecous, ie, single celled anther. The anthers dehisce traversaly. In dithecous condition the anther is two celled. In diadelphous condition the stamens arranged in two bundles, eg, Papilionatae.
