Q. In the lowest energy level of hydrogen atom, the electron has the angular momentum

Chhattisgarh PMTChhattisgarh PMT 2005

Solution:

Angular momentum of the electron for nth level $=\frac{n h}{2 \pi}$
For lowest energy level of $H_{2}, n=1$
$\therefore $ angular momentum $=\frac{h}{2 \pi}$
