Potential gradient
$x=\left(\frac{5}{0 . 5 + 4 . 5}\right)\left(\frac{4 . 5}{3}\right)=1.5Vm^{- 1}$
Here $\left(x\right)\left(A C\right)=3\Rightarrow AC=\frac{3}{1 . 5}=2m$
