Q. In the figure as shown, a conducting wire $P Q$ of length $1\, m$ is moving in a uniform magnetic field $B=3 \,T$ with constant velocity $v=2\, m / sec$ towards right. Given, $R=2 \,\Omega$, $C=1 \,F$ and $L=2 \,H$. The current through resistance, capacitor and inductor at any time $t$ are $I_{1}, I_{2}$ and $I_{3}$ respectively. The value of $I_{3}$ (in A) at time $t=2 \,\sec$ is____Physics Question Image

Alternating Current

Solution:

$V=B v L=(3)(2)(1)=6 \,V$
$V_{R}=V_{C}=V_{L}=6\, V $ (All are in parallel)
$V_{L}=L \frac{d i}{d t} 6=(2) \frac{d i}{d t}$
$ \Rightarrow \frac{d i}{d t}=3 \,A / \sec$
After $2 \,\sec$, current will be $6 A$.
