$R_{e q}$ of the circuit $=\frac{6 \times 3}{6+3}+3=5\, \Omega$
$i=15 / 5=3\, Amp$.

Applying kirchoff at steady state in loop
$ABCDA$
$1 \times 3+q / C-15=0$
$q / C=12$
p.d. across capacitor $=12$ volt
