By applying KVL,
$V_{A}-4 I-9-I_{1}-3-4 I=V_{B}$
$ 16=+8 I+I_{1}+12 $
$ 8 I+I_{1}=4 V$ ......(i)
By applying $KVL$ in $\operatorname{loop} A' B' C' D' A'$,
$-9-I_{1}+2\left(I-I_{1}\right)=0$
$-3 I_{1}+2 I=9$ ..........(ii)
By solving (i) and (ii) current in $2\, \Omega$ resistance is $3.5 \,A$.
