Maximum velocity, $\beta = \omega A$
$\therefore \:\:\frac{\alpha}{\beta} =\frac{\omega^2 A}{\omega A} =\omega = \frac{2\pi}{T} $
or ,$T = \frac{2\pi\beta}{\alpha}$
