Phaeophyceae or brown algae are the forms of algae usually found in the marine habitats with a wide range of varieties. The members of this algae, reproduce either vegetatively by fragmentation sexually with the help of gametes, wherein the reproduction may be either oogamous, isogamous, or anisogamous and asexual reproduction by the biflagellate zoospores which is pear-shaped and have two flagella unequal in size and laterally attached.
