Q. In mitotic cell division, the division of centromere and the division of chromatid occurs between:

Solution:

The chromosomes become attached by their centromeres to some spindle fibres. And spindle fibres do not make connection with chromosomes from pole to pole. At the beginning of anaphase and end of metaphase, the centromere is divided which results in the separation of sister chromatids.
