In human beings, the eggs are alecithal i.e. they do not contain yolk. Mesolecithal eggs contain moderate amount of yolk e.g., frog. Microlecithal eggs contain a little amount of yolk e.g., Amphioxus. Macrolecithal eggs contain large amount of yolk e.g. birds.
