UP CPMTUP CPMT 2001

Solution:

Endoderm is the innermost germ layer of an animals embryo. It is composed [like mesoderm (when present)] of cells which have moved from the embryo surface to it’s interior during gastrulation. It develops into greater part of gut lining and associated glands, eg. liver, pancreas, thyroid, thymus and much of the branchial system.
