Solution:

During joint diastole, atria and ventricles both simultaneously undergoing diastole. During joint diastole, blood is continues to flow into auricle through the great veins (superior and inferior venal cavae) which bring venous blood from all parts of the body. During arterial diastole, venous blood again passes from the great veins to the auricle.
