Q. In common emitter amplifier, the current gain is $ 62 $ . The collector resistance and input resistance are $ 5\,k\,\Omega $ and $ 500\,\Omega $ respectively. If the input voltage is $ 0.01\, V $ , the output voltage is

Solution:

Voltage gain = resistance gain current
$ \times $ gain or $ \frac{{{V}_{out}}}{{{V}_{in}}}=\frac{{{R}_{out}}}{{{R}_{in}}}\times \beta $
or $ {{V}_{out}}=\frac{{{R}_{out}}}{{{R}_{in}}}\times \beta \times {{V}_{in}} $
$ \therefore $ $ {{V}_{out}}=\frac{5000}{500}\times 62\times 0.01=6.2V $
