In man, Plasmodium vivax causes benign tertian fever. In this state, erythrocyte schizogony starts with micro metacryptozoites stage. These micro-meta cryptomerozoites enter into the red blood corpuscles by entering into the blood. Thus, erythrocytic schizogony starts.
