Solution:

GFC- grazing food chain and DFC- detritus food chain.
Food chain starting with dead organic matter is DFC where was food chain starting with a producer is GFC. DFC begins with decomposers and in aquatic system, decomposition is very low. Thus, GFC forms the main channel of energy flow in it. Where in land ecosystem, decomposition rate is higher as a result more amount of energy flows through DFC than GFC.
