NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020
Solution:
Producers are photosynthetic organisms and belonging to the first trophic level or T1. Animals are heterotrophic organisms that cannot manufacture their own food. They obtain food from other sources. Based on their mode of nutrition, they are divided into two types- herbivores and carnivores. Herbivores are consumers of first-order occupying the second trophic level or T2. The third trophic level is occupied by primary carnivores and later by secondary carnivores and lastly, the top carnivores occupy the fourth/fifth trophic levels. Decomposers do not occupy any trophic level but are involved in decomposing all the organisms of any trophic level.
