Solution:

For isothermal reversible compression, work done $(w)$ is $+ve$
As $q=-w$ therefore $q$ is $-ve$
Also, $\Delta\,s=\frac{q_{iso, rev}}{T}$
As $q$ is $-Ve$ so, $\Delta\, S$ will also be $-ve$
