Q. In a photoelectric experiment, if both the intensity and frequency of the incident light are doubled, then the saturation photoelectric current

KEAMKEAM 2010Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter

Solution:

The number of photoelectrons emitted, ie, photoeiectric current is independent of the frequency of the incident light and depends only upon its intensity.
Thus, the saturation photoeiectric current is doubled.
