Q. In a flowering plant, archesporium gives rise to

Solution:

The archesporium cells during microsporogenesis give rise to sporogenous cells on the inner side of microsporangium. These sporogenous cells later form the microspore mother cell which divide meiotically to form four haploid pollen cells called as tetrad.
