Solution:

In an ideal solution of components 'A' and 'B' Mole fraction of component 'A9 in the vapour $ Phase=\frac{Partial\text{ }pressure\text{ }of\text{ }A}{Total\text{ }vapour\text{ }pressure} $ $ =\frac{{{P}_{A}}}{{{P}_{A}}+{{P}_{B}}} $ $ =\frac{P_{A}^{o}.x_{A}^{o}}{P_{A}^{o}.{{x}_{A}}+P_{B}^{o}.{{x}_{B}}} $ $ =\frac{1\times 1}{1\times 1+2\times 2} $ $ =\frac{1}{1+4}=\frac{1}{5}=0.2 $
