Solution:

The relation between cubical expansion and superficial expansion $ \beta $ is given by $ \frac{\beta }{2}=\frac{\gamma }{3} $ or $ \gamma =\frac{3\beta }{2}=1.5\beta $ Hence $ x=1.5 $
