Solution:

We know that $Q.D = \frac{5}{6} \times M.D. $
$= \frac{5}{6} \times 12 = 10 $
$\therefore \, S.D = \frac{3}{2} \times Q.D$
$ = \frac{3}{2} \times 10$
$ \Rightarrow \, S.D. = 15$
