Solution:

A series of fused segmentally arranged ganglia joined by paired longitudinal connectives on the ventral side makes the nervous system of the cockroach. Six ganglia present in the abdomen and three lie in the thorax. In cockroach the nervous system is spreaded throughout the body. Only a bit of nervous system is held by the head while the rest is situated along the ventral part of the body. This is the reason for the survival of cockroach for as long as one week after the cutting off of it's head.
