$ \therefore $ $ f(A)=\left[ \begin{matrix} 3 & 1 \\ -1 & 2 \\ \end{matrix} \right]\left[ \begin{matrix} 3 & 1 \\ -1 & 2 \\ \end{matrix} \right]-5\left[ \begin{matrix} 3 & 1 \\ -1 & 2 \\ \end{matrix} \right] $
