Solution:

We have, $f\left(\frac{x+1}{2 x-1}\right)=2 x$
Put $x=1$, then
$\left[\frac{1+1}{2(1)-1}\right]=2 \times 1 $
$ \Rightarrow f\left(\frac{2}{1}\right)=2 \Rightarrow f(2)=2$
