Solution:

Given, $ f(x)=\left\{ \begin{matrix} -1,\,where\,\,x\,\,is\,rational \\ 1,\,when\,\,x\,is\,\,irrational\, \\ \end{matrix} \right. $
Now, $ (fof)\,(1-\sqrt{3})=f[f(1-\sqrt{3})]=f(1)=-1 $
