Q. If equal volumes of $0.1 \,M \,KMnO _{4}$ and $0.1 \,M \,K _{2} Cr _{2} O _{7}$ solutions are allowed to oxidise $Fe ^{2+}$ to $Fe ^{3+}$ in acidic medium, then $Fe ^{2+}$ oxidised will be :-

Redox Reactions

Solution:

$K _{2} Cr _{2} O _{7}$ have greater $n$ factor as compaire $KMnO _{4}$ so same volume of $K _{2} Cr _{2} O _{7}$ will oxidise more amount of $Fe ^{+2}$.
