In metacentric chromosomes centromcre is present in the middle of chromosome chromosome now appear u-shaped at anaphase. In sub-metacentric chromosomes the centromere is sub submedian and chromosome appear I-shaped at anaphase In Acrocentric chromosome centromere is sub terminal. In Telocentric chromosome centromere is terminal.
