Q. If an endothermic reaction is non-spontaneous at freezing point of water becomes feasible at its boiling point, then

Solution:

$\Delta G=\Delta H-T\Delta S,$ since $\Delta G=+ve$ at T = 273 K and $\Delta H=+ve$ and at high temperature 373 K, it becomes spontaneous $\left(\right.\Delta G=-ve\left.\right)$ even if $\Delta H=+ve$ . This is possible only, if $\Delta S=+ve$ because at high temperature. $T\Delta S>\Delta H$ to give $\Delta G=-ve$ .
