Q. If A and B are two events such that $P(A \cup B) = 0.65$ and $P (A \cap B ) = 0.15$ , then $P(\bar{A}) + P(\bar{B}) = $

Probability - Part 2

Solution:

$P(A \cup B) + P(A \cap B) = P (A) + P(B)$
$P(\bar{A}) + P( \bar{B} ) = 2 - [ P(A \cup B) + P(A \cap B)]$
