Solution:

Aestivation is known as the mode of arrangement of sepals or petals in floral bud. In valvate mode of arrangement petals lie adjacent to each other and do not touch or merely just touch each other. When one petal is covered by two adjacent petal is known as imbricate but with no proper regularity. In vexillary mode, one of the petal is superior and others overlap within it. When petals overlap each other in proper form is called twisted aestivation.
