Solution:

After glycolysis, pyruvic acid enters in the matrix of mitochondria and undergoes acetylation by oxidative decarboxylation using $5$ coenzymes and cofactors and $4$ enzymes to form $2$ carbon compounds acetyl $Co-A$. This acetyl $Co-A$ or activated acetic acid act as a connecting link between glycolysis, Krebs cycle and oxidation of fats.
