Solution:

Due to the small size of $Li^{+}$ , it is very polarizing and favours the formation of $LiO_{2}$ .
$4LiNO_3 \rightarrow \underset{X}{2Li_2O_{(s)} + 4NO_{2(g)} + O_{2(g)}}$ ​
While other alkali metal nitrates decomposes to give corresponding nitrite.
$NaNO_{3} \xrightarrow [800 ^\circ C]{\Delta } \underset{Y}{NaNO_{2}+\frac{1}{2}O_{2}}$
