Since diketone is produced, therefore, the hydrocarbon must be an alkyne. The structure of diketone shows that triple bonded carbons are $-C^{3}\equiv C^{4}-$ . Hence, the alkyne is $CH_{3}CH_{2}C\equiv CCH_{2}CH_{2}CH_{3}.$
