Hybridoma are hybrid cell resulting from the ftosion of a normal antibody producing B-lymphooyte and a multiple myeloma cell from lymphoid tumor, This hybrid cell is capable of producing a continuous supply of antibody. Such cells can produce a clone that may be maintained in tissue culture and used for the continuing production of monoclonal antibodies.
