BHUBHU 2012Locomotion and Movement

Solution:

Theoretically, human vertebral column consists of $33$ vertebrae - $7$ cervical, $12$ thoracic, $5$ lumbar, $5$ sacral and $4$ coccygeal. However, it consists of $26$ bones as five sacral vertebrae fuse to form one sacrum and four coccygeal vertebrae fuse to form one coccyx.
