Q. How much charge is required for the oxidation of $1$ mole of $S_{2}O_{3}^{- 2}$ to $S_{4}O_{6}^{- 2}?$

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

$\underset{\left(+ 2\right)}{S_{2} O_{3}^{- 2}} \rightarrow \underset{\left(+ 2 . 5\right)}{S_{4} O_{6}^{- 2}}$
$n=\left(\right.2.5-2\left.\right)\times 2$
$=1$
$1$ mole $ \rightarrow 1F$
