Pyrophosphoric acid $\left(H_{4} P_{2} O_{7}\right)$ is one of the oxoacids of the phosphorus having the oxidation state of phosphorous as $+5$ . It has four $P-OH$ bonds, two $P=O$ bonds and one $P-O-P$ bond in its structure as shown below.
