Indole acetic acid (IAA) and Indole butyric acid are natural auxin synthesized in plants. Naphthalene acetic acid and 2,4 dichlorophenoxy acetic acid are synthetic auxin. Auxin is mainly synthesized at shoot apex as light is necessary for the synthesis of auxin.
