Q. How many number of $CO_{2}$ molecules are required to synthesise one molecule of glucose during $C_{3}$ cycle

Photosynthesis in Higher Plants

Solution:

Six molecules of $CO_{2}$ are required to synthesise one molecule of glucoses each of which undergoes a $C_{3}$ cycle. Hence, $6$ molecules of $CO_{2}$ synthesise a glucose molecule after 6 turns of Calvin cycle.
