Solution:

Tricarboxylic acid cycle or Krebs cycle occurs in the mitochondrial matrix. In this acetyl CoA combines with oxaloacetic acid in a series of reactions to regenerate oxaloacetic acid. In this cycle 3 $N A D H_{2}$ , 1 $F A D H_{2,}$ and 1ATP are formed. $N A D P H_{2}$ is not formed in the Kreb's cycle.
