Q. How many $ 1\,\mu F $ capacitors must be connected in parallel to store a charge of $1\, C$ with a potential of $110\, V$ across the capacitors?

Delhi UMET/DPMTDelhi UMET/DPMT 2011Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance

Solution:

charge $q=n C V$
$1=n \times 1 \times 10^{-6} \times 110$
$n =\frac{1}{110 \times 10^{-6}}$
$n=\frac{100000}{11}$
$\approx 9090$
