Solution:

In spermatogenesis, spermatogonia undergoes mitosis and forms two primary spermatocytes. Each primary spermatocyte undergoes meiosis 1 to form two secondary spermatocytes that undergo meiosis 2 to form four spermatids. Mitosis and meiosis 2 are equational divisions and thus the ploidy level of the daughter cells will remain the same. Meiosis 1 is reductional division and thus ploidy level reduces to half. Spermatogonia which is diploid cells will form primary spermatocytes that are diploid too. These diploid cells will form haploid secondary spermatocytes which will form haploid spermatids.
