Grana are present inside the chloroplasts. Each granum may contain 10 - 100 thylakoids. Thylakoids or baggy trousers are membrane lined flattened sacs. Thylokoids (or granna) contain chloroplast proteins, photosynthetic pigments and other factors required for photosynthesis.
